9-C-CAP – Disused Chimney Capper – TerracottaOur Capping Cowl is used to cap off unused chimneys whilst also providing good ventilation. By raising the arms upwards or downwards you can adjust the level of ventilation. It is important to cap off unused chimneys to prevent water, debris and animals from entering the structure and causing damage. This cowl is made from terracotta and has a 9″ diameter base with arms that extend 9″ above the base. The height of the cowl can be increased by 6″ with the addition of extensions (sold separately).
